This drawing was a final stab at reclaiming some of the work put into the previous sans serif drawings. All of the attempts up to this point were either amateur or highly derivative and, as a result, I lost enthusiasm for the project. Sensing disaster, I took one last swing at the idea and came up with this drawing. Though very rough, it offers a fresh take on traditional sans serif forms.
The italic shown in this image is very speculative and entirely useless. It however served as the basis for the final Locator Italic.
