Indicia
Indicia is a free OpenType font with a complete character set, kerning, Discretionary Ligatures, Stylistic Alternates, Standard Ligatures and Old Style figures. Originally designed as a test font for the development of Lingua, Indicia is now offered to those curious about OpenType. The font lacks much of the formal originality one would expect from a commercial typeface as it was designed to measure the outcome of combining unlikely letter pairs into ligatures and not as a grand contribution to typeface design. The font will however give new OpenType users a feel for the format.

A freeware user license agreement is included with this font. In short, you may not use Indicia for commercial purposes or include the font for download from a website.
