Font Formats

Process Type Foundry fonts are available in three formats depending on the platform and font family selected but we should add with the release of Windows Vista and the discontinued support for PostScript T1 from Adobe, OpenType is the new standard. We offer the below:

OTF
OpenType Postscript (CFF) cross platform Mac/PC fonts containing all metrics and outline data in a single file. Please see here and here for compatibility with this format.

Mac PostScript
Traditional Macintosh PostScript Type 1 fonts once the industry standard, now being phased out.

PC PostScript
PC PostScript Type 1 fonts containing a PFB and PFM file. Depending on your system, Adobe Type Manager may be needed to install the fonts. Download Adobe ATM. Windows Vista features limited support for this format.
